Miss Ellie Phont is a work of oil on canvas.  She was photographed in Africa by Mark D. Smith on a photographic safari.  She is heavily textured to create a more realistic image.  Enjoy!

I also believe that art should evoke emotion, whether is be joy, happiness, wonder, or any of the gamut of emotions that we can feel.  Since art begins with emotion, it should continue in emotion.
