20" x 30"
This piece has heavy texture with Gold and Copper leaf. I has won many prizes. I love it because it speaks to another time and place, where you could sit and ponder, where you really could feel tranquil. I also love that their is an edge to it, with the museum wrap and the gold and copper leaf.
Sometimes life is just fun, and we need to enjoy it!
Enjoy!

I took this photo in Fussen, Germany just before Easter. We were walking down one of the wagon-wheel streets, looking into shop windows and generally enjoying all the wares. We happened upon a small antique store, which called to us to enter. However, given the lateness of the hour, we could not stay long. Upon exiting, we were greeted by this charming residence, a bright blue flower in the middle of the darkening street. It looked so happy and cheerful! I could not resist a photo or two. I love the vibrant color and the exuberance and optimism of this home. I hope you enjoy it too, and that it brightens your day as much as it does mine.

Good News!!!
The show at the Schorr Gallery in West Jordan Utah is continuing. There are some wonderful pieces on sale for very affordable prices. What a great time to pick up some original art.
Also, for your framing needs, see Linda Penrod Jones at Linda's Art and Frame. She has some new mouldings coming that will really impress you. They are truly gorgeous! You can frame your new pieces or re-frame some of your classics for a fresh new view.

Hi!
The New Year has begun, a new painting is finished, and some new ones just starting!
YEAH!!!!
The show at the Schorr Gallery ends tomorrow. If you did not get a chance to see it, I am sorry.
Take heart, a new one will begin soon.
If you get a chance, check out Linda Penrod Jones at +Linda's Art and Frame on the web, and on Facebook. She is a great artist, teacher, and framer. She has marvelous moldings to create spectacular framed pieces, all for a very reasonable price. You can also see some of my artwork on her site.
I will post the new painting after it is frames. Sometimes, choosing the frame is the most difficult part. I am a firm believer in choosing the correct frame for your piece. The right frame really makes your work shine! An incorrect frame really can make a good piece of art look bad. So, as soon as the framing is done, you can see it.
Enjoy each day, make sure to find something to laugh about, and find something beautiful to see (psst - look in the mirror)!
Brenda
